1. Gripe Speeches. I will be looking for the following:
     a.  presented,
     b.  on time,
     c.  gripe,
     d.  solution,
     e.  coherence,
     f.  posture,
     g.  eye contact,
     h.  voice, and
     i.  attitude.

2. Points will be deducted for being under one and a half minutes or over three minutes. The rate is one point per second.

3. Points will also be deducted for personal attacks; pinpointing an easily-identified individual or a religious/cultural group; or being especially mean or nasty. Politicians and celebrities are an exception to being pinpointed, but not to receiving mean or nasty attacks. 

4. In cases in which the speaker steps way over the line, I will stop the speech immediately and assign the speaker a failing grade (from 0 to 69).
