1. Veering assignment


Choose one of the subjects below. It should be one of which you have little or no prior knowledge. You have to start with your chosen area, but you may veer off when you come to something that interests you. Find out more about it, experience it, use it, whatever.

2. Monday you will give a 30-second to 2-minute report on it, tell us the route that took you there, and/or whatever you want to tell us about it. 

3. The report must include:
     a. an introduction,
     b. something about your veering assignment, and
     c. a conclusion.
