ALL ABOUT ME ASSIGNMENT

YOUR FIRST MAJOR SPEECH OF THE YEAR IS ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE SUBJECT... YOU! YOU WILL CREATE A POSTER ALL ABOUT YOU FOLLOWING GUIDELINES BELOW AND DEVELOP A SPEECH ABOUT EACH SECTION OF THE POSTER.

GUIDELINES

1. The poster must be at least 1/2 a poster board in size.
2. In the center of the poster will be your name spelled out in adjectives that describe you. This website might be helpful to you: http://adjectivesthatstart.com
3. Divide the poster into four sections:
     Section one: the two colors that best describe your personality (color chart on the blog),
     Section two: a quote, motto, or poem that you love and describes you,
     Section three: at least three things you love and enjoy (pictures must be included),
     Section four: at least two memories from your life (pictures must be included).
4. Presentation (speech)
     Discuss why you chose the adjectives for your name.
     Discuss each section of your ME poster.
     The speech will be approximately 2:00 in length.
5. The poster is one TEST GRADE, and the speech is one TEST GRADE.
6. The poster is due on Monday, January 19.
7. The speech is due on Monday, January 26.

You will have some class time to work on this, but this will not be the only assignment you will have during this time period. There will be other daily work to do, including small speeches.
